The researcher, in this paper, highlights the historical significance of Bu Maher Fort, which held great importance for the neighborhood of Muharraq due to its strategic defensive location. The fort also gained economic importance, particularly in the pearl trade, as it served as a port where island sailors would dock to conduct commercial exchanges through the fort’s seafront, overlooking the Pearl Path. This path extends for 3 square kilometers and leads to the Siadi House Museum, one of the prominent residences of pearl merchants in Muharraq.

The researcher adopted a historical descriptive-analytical approach in studying the site and concluded the study by emphasizing the fort’s pivotal role, which drew public attention, especially after the Pearl Path was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Bu Maher Fort became a key maritime hub for both local and commercial ships, in addition to its military significance as a defensive stronghold.
