Abstract

Religion, with its multifaceted and diverse aspects, captivates researchers and specialists in the field of Prehistoric studies. This interest stems from the significant role religion played in the cultural activities of ancient human societies, making it crucial for a comprehensive historical understanding of that era. Despite the ambiguity shrouding several aspects of this branch of civilization studies, scholars have made strides by examining ancient sources, analyzing field study results, and interpreting rock art panels. These efforts have shed light on the religious aspects of Prehistoric times. This paper will explore this topic from two important perspectives: the religious beliefs and deities depicted in ancient inscriptions, and the offerings made by ancient humans to connect with their deities.
